The Nekotech Center of Excellence was established to empower underserved populations across Africa, with a focus on education, healthcare, and economic development. Since its founding in 1998 by the late Sir Isaac Hayes (Nene Katey Ocansey) and H.E. Rev. Dr. Princess A.K. Ocansey, the center has become a beacon of hope, transforming the lives of thousands through job-readiness programs, healthcare initiatives, and labor migration advocacy.
Our story
Founded in 1998, the Nekotech Center of Excellence began with a mission to uplift communities and provide the tools necessary for sustainable development. The center officially opened its doors in July 2000, with the late UN Secretary-General, H.E. Kofi Annan, serving as a special guest. Over the years, the center has grown into a world-renowned institution, known for its prep and readiness colleges for higher education programs in STEM AI MBA in the USA, etc.
Our mission

Our vision

our impact
Job Readiness Programs
Our award-winning job readiness and migrant pre-departure training programs have moved thousands of workers from low-skilled to semi-skilled employment, ensuring they have the tools to succeed both locally and abroad.
HIV/AIDS Prevention and Healthcare Initiatives
Through our "Save a Million Lives" project, in partnership with USA National Medical Associations, we’ve raised awareness, trained counselors, and provided medical care to over 10,000 people, breaking the stigma around HIV/AIDS in African communities.
Labor Migration Diplomacy
Nekotech Center is a leader in labor migration diplomacy, working with African governments to establish safe and fair migration policies. Our programs ensure African youth can access decent work opportunities abroad, protecting them from exploitation.
